It’s been a while since we’ve last shared a restaurant guide, and Jackson Hole has seen some  changes to its food scene in recent years. We’ve loved the chance to experience some incredible  new restaurants, while still visiting our favorite spots! Below is a list of the best restaurants in  Jackson Hole, according to our guides. Don’t let your stomachs get too carried away!

Breakfast

Cowboy Coffee: If you have joined us on tour, you know how good the coffee we serve is. We’re happy to share that you can purchase it locally from Cowboy Coffee! Not only do they roast an amazing brew, they also make delicious breakfast sandwiches and burritos, pastries, and more! They have two locations–a storefront on the Town Square (it usually has a line out the door, so get there early!) and a drive-thru as you head south from town along US-89. Personally, I can’t get enough of their Cowboy Burrito–a must-try if you’re looking for a delicious grab-n-go option to get into the national parks bright and early! As an added bonus, Cowboy Coffee donates a percentage of their profits to WYldlife for Tomorrow, a statewide wildlife conservation fundraising initiative started by our very own founder, Taylor Phillips! Please see the bottom of this post for a full list of supporting restaurants.

Nora’s Fish Creek Inn: Despite recently coming under new management, this famous local spot has changed little. It still retains its historic character and incredible breakfast menu, and is staffed with some of the friendliest and chipper folks in the valley! Located along HWY-22 in Wilson, WY, this is a great spot for those staying just outside the hustle and bustle of downtown Jackson.

Persephone Bakery: This spot needs no introduction. Famous for its French-inspired pastries and Instagram-worthy meals, this bakery usually has a line out the door, regardless of the season. A few of our guides are particularly obsessed with the croissant egg sandwich–adding avocado is a must! If you're based in Wilson or Teton Village, you're in luck: Persephone has a West Bank location, too! To avoid the lines, we recommend going early at either location and grabbing your treat to go–take it into the park and enjoy it while you look for wildlife!

Lunch

Roadhouse Pub & Eatery: For unique and award-winning local brews paired with delicious food, look no further than this spot, located on the Town Square! Serving up everything from tacos, flatbreads, burgers and sandwiches, salads, and creative entrees, there’s something for everyone!

Pearl Street Bagels: With two locations–one in Jackson and one in Wilson–this is a great grab-n-go option for both breakfast and lunch. Some of our guides are originally from the east coast, where bagels are king, and they will happily admit that these are the best bagels in the west! Made fresh daily, you have a range of bagel flavors to choose from, along with high-quality spreads, veggies, and deli meats and cheeses. You can’t go wrong, unless you ask for your bagel to be toasted–they won’t do that! 😉

Creekside Market: For another great deli-style grab-n-go lunch, Creekside is not to be missed! Owned and operated by some long-time locals, Creekside has long been a community staple. Located off US-89 as you drive north into Grand Teton National Park, this is a great place to pick up lunch for your adventure in the park. They also offer a variety of hiking and fly-fishing supplies, in case you accidentally left something at home!

Dinner

The Bistro: Located half a block off the Town Square, The Bistro offers upscale European-style fare, an oyster bar, and creative cocktails. We definitely recommend reservations for this delicious spot, as tables can be hard to come by. Don’t fret if you fail to make a reservation–you can enjoy a drink in the beautifully-decorated lobby of the Cloudveil Hotel (which houses The Bistro) while you wait for a table. Bonus: for an after-dinner treat, Moo’s Gourmet Ice Cream is just across the street!

Il Villaggio Osteria: If you’re staying in Teton Village, this is a great dinner option. Nestled slopeside in Hotel Terra, Osteria is a little piece of Italy in Jackson Hole. House-made pizzas, pastas, meats and cheeses are complemented by an extensive wine list and knowledgeable staff. After a long day of trekking through the national parks or skiing at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, tucking into a hearty bowl of pasta sounds heavenly. Reservations recommended!

Local Restaurant & Bar: If you ask our guides what their favorite local restaurant is, Local will take the cake. Located on Jackson’s Town Square, this restaurant is a contemporary take on the modern American steakhouse. The menu features both classic and specialty cuts of locally ranched meats and game alongside fresh seafood, shellfish, house-ground burgers, and seasonally inspired food. Personally, we can’t get enough of their fries and mac ‘n cheese bites. This is a great spot to enjoy a specialty cocktail–they’re delicious!–grab a bite to eat, and watch the action through the Town Square. Make sure you get a reservation–this place is insanely popular!

The above list only scratches the surface of the incredible food options available in Jackson Hole. Our office staff and guides are happy to give you more recommendations based on your tastes to ensure you get the most out of your culinary experience!

The following restaurants are business supporters of WYldlife for Tomorrow, meaning dollars spent here help support wildlife conservation funding: Cowboy Coffee, Persephone Bakery, Roadhouse Pub & Eatery, The Bistro, and Il Villaggio Osteria.
