Seth Latka

Seth Latka found his love for the outdoors growing up among the forests of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Northern Virginia. His passion grew stronger when, halfway through highschool, he moved to the Rocky Mountains of Colorado and studied Geology at the University of Northern Colorado. He was never drawn towards working for gas and oil, and instead, wanted the opportunity to teach others about the amazing geology all around us. His passion led him to lead hiking tours across the Front Range of The Rockies, ATV tours outside Rocky Mountain National Park, snowmobile tours through the White River National Forest to the Maroon Bells, before ultimately becoming a naturalist guide for Jackson Hole Eco Tour Adventures.

When not on tour, Seth loves hiking, camping, and most of all….getting out on the water! Seth believes that the best way to foster compassion for wildlife and inspire action to protect our natural resources and landscapes, is to venture into the wild first hand. Once you have inhaled the aroma of wildflowers, walked the shores of an alpine lake, or heard the eerie bugle of an elk echo through morning fog…it is more difficult to ignore or disrespect the wild spaces that ETA strives to protect. Seth is honored to be an ambassador for wildlife and steward of the land. This is what it means to be a guide for Jackson Hole EcoTour Adventures.

Seth is a certified Wilderness First Responder and a certified University of Wyoming Outdoor Guide.
