Matty Deehan has lived, worked and played in the GYE for well over two decades. Raised on the shores of the Atlantic and the tops of the White Mountains of New England he’s been a full time naturalist from day one. Communicating all the wonders of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem through the various scientific disciplines or through his volumes of personal experiences the passion for his “back yahd” is contagious. When Matty isn’t loving his career as a guide he can be found in the GYE with his family and his 80lbs brindled rescue mutt “Teddy.”
