From Atlanta, Kate found a love and passion for animals and the outdoors at an early age. Receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Fisheries & Wildlife from the University of Georgia, she became involved in wildlife research around Georgia. Her research thesis focused on Eastern Diamond Rattlesnakes and coastal ecosystems, but after college she dreamed of moving to the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. She worked as a wildlife biologist in environmental consulting and soon fell in love with the area. In the winter, she works at JHMR and loves to ski!
