Cascade Canyon Trail:
This iconic hike begins at the String Lake Trailhead (or take the ferry across Jenny Lake to cut 2 miles off your journey) and takes you deep into the heart of the Teton Range. The trail winds along the shores of Jenny Lake before ascending into Cascade Canyon, offering breathtaking views of towering peaks, alpine meadows, and pristine lakes. Distance: It depends on how far into Cascade Canyon you choose to go. Once you leave Jenny Lake, the trail extends 3 miles back to a junction, where you can hike up either North Cascade Canyon or South Cascade Canyon. The North canyon takes you another 3 miles to Lake Solitude. To get to the lake and back is about 16 miles round trip!

Taggart Lake Loop:
Perfect for hikers of all skill levels, the Taggart Lake Loop is a scenic trek that begins at the Taggart Lake Trailhead. Take a break at Taggart Lake to soak in the tranquil surroundings before completing the loop. Distance: Approximately 3 miles round trip.
Paintbrush Divide:
This loop is not for the faint of heart! This strenuous hike starts at the String Lake Trailhead and takes you through Paintbrush Canyon, one of the park's most stunning alpine environments. Marvel at colorful wildflowers, cascading waterfalls, and panoramic vistas as you ascend to the Divide at 10,700 feet, the highest point on the Teton Crest Trail. Descending into North Cascade Canyon, hikers are treated to vistas of serene alpine lakes, including the breathtaking Lake Solitude.
