Do you want to spend a full day hiking in the mountains with an accomplished naturalist and guide? Join us for a hike above tree line to explore the alpine environment or take a hike with us in the rich forests surrounding Jackson Hole. Get all the exercise you want while you hike through meadows of vibrant wildflowers and learn about the surrounding environment. Topics of conversation on our hiking ecotours include animal behavior, local botany, geology of the area, and cultural history of this special place to name a few. Your guide will lead you to the pinacle of the Sleeping Indian or introduce you to the Jackson Peak and Goodwin Lake area, to name some of the hiking locations. Expect to spend six to eight hours exploring the spectacular mountains of the Gros Ventre Range while soaking in some of the best views of Jackson Hole and the majestic Teton Mountain Range.
Our guides know the trails like the back of their hands and are proficient in map and compass reading skills. At lunch we will unfold our picnic blanket and provide you with a healthy backcountry lunch to remember. This hiking tour is designed for moderate to active energy level individuals.
